I now often heard about this expensive meal of our President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in restaurants in the US (Bobby Van’s Steakhouse and Le Cirque). We say its shameful right? It’s a show of typical Filipino's habit, for example: a birth day or a fiesta most Filipinos spends too much or even go to money lenders just for that occasion, True or False?

If we want to change the government we should also change ourselves. Election day is coming we should votes not only wisely but also correctly. See those people on TV, radio and even the internet they are spamming everything I'm sure they are spending more than the President did. Those funds can be use to build a classrooms or hospitals if just they spent it right.

Going back to the President's expensive meals, in my opinion the best way to lead people behind you is "leadership by example." Whatever the explanation the palace will have on this controversy, dining and wining in an expensive restaurant is not appropriate for a leader of a country with grinding poverty issue. Madam Pres. Arroyo, check your lifestyle. You still have time.
